Exciting news: we’re getting married!

And we want to celebrate and share this special day with all of you in Italy, in the beautiful Trieste, Giulia’s home town

When?

Save the date: 14/06/2025

I’m packed. Where to?

Civil ceremony: townhall of Trieste, Piazza Unità d’Italia (time to be confirmed)

Symbolic ceremony, lunch, and wedding party: Ristorante Hotel Pesek

Can't make it?

Italy is great – but we understand it can be difficult for you to join us.

We’ve got you covered: on a date to be specified, we will organise a cosy reception in Belgium for everybody who couldn’t make it.

Joining us in Italy?

Staying in Trieste

Trieste has many different options to offer: hotels, camping sites, B&Bs, agriturismi.. you just have to choose!

Let’s start with this… There will be 19-20 rooms available at the hotel, all booked for our event. These will be reserved for family and witnesses. Should one become available, we will let you know.

Want to stay close but still on your own? Check out all the accommodations in Basovizza (part of Trieste’s municipality) and its immediate surroundings

… or stay in the city centre of Trieste, only 15 to 20 minutes by car.

Feeling even more international? Slovenia is just around the corner!

If you need assistance with arranging your accommodation, let us know and we will help you out.

Fun fact: did you know that Istria used to be Italian and that Giulia’s family is from there?

– The sky is the limit! With a little more driving, you can also get to Bosnia and Montenegro while enjoying the Dalmatian coast of Croatia
